Oma's Apple Tart

We spent a day dedicated to Oma Tiny who passed away on 13/02/2015 making Apple Tart. We all had our jobs to get the 3kg of apples into the tart.

On the 13th our Oma passed away. Whilst it is sad I can only be happy for her. Opa passed away nearly a year ago and this Valentine's Day marks thier 70th wedding Anniversary, so I think where else would you go but be with your husband.

Sometimes things happen and you just wonder why, how, really...

Anyhow Mali has befriended a great young girl through swimming club. It just happens that her mum's sister and I were good friends growing up. So it is lovely to see another generation of us.
