Wow at this school there are so many differnces!!!!!!
At this school we can have our hair down,we can wear nail polish, police give kids raffle tickets to win a prize.
At school they do awards that take 10 minutes altogether.
I am having lot s of fun in Gove.
Did you know that Nhulunbuy is likly to have a cyclone in the next week. Wish you luck at school Mali.
And from Ingrid...Yes there are plenty of differences between Mali's two school. Each classroom has a fridge to keep lunches cold, I like this one! Also kids ride to school come rain or shine, some are lucky to have thier school bag collected if it is very wet! Today Mali arrived with mud all up her shins and backside. All the dirt around here is red mud (bauxite).
Mali received an award at the first assembly for the year, being for a great start. She certainly is adapting well to a system which is whole lot less pressure, though as yet I'm questioning how much I should humbug her to keep up the hard work WBPS expects.
For those old Goveites reading this post, it is very much the same assembly area, though much of it is looking quite flash these days. Do you remember going to see cowboy and indian movies in here?
